For its 2024 season, the Valorous Champions Tour (VCT) has disclosed plans that include the construction of a brand-new international league, international competition in brand-new cities, and year-round competition in developing circuits.

Starting in 2024, each international league will host an immersive two-week tournament that will bring eight teams to the first global event of the season, Masters Madrid. This is the first time that the global VCT will host in Spain and determine the best team of the year.

Challengers is expanding its year-round calendar to offer more Tier 2 sporting events. A loan system for team members and players will also be introduced to increase the flow of players between international leagues, challengers and game changers.

Valorant's new Premier mode serves as the game's VCT entry point. The 2024 season will see an unprecedented number of elite teams competing at the highest level. After the Ascension event, three teams defeated the challengers and won the right to join international leagues for two years. Guard, Gentle Mates and Bleed Esports secured their places after a year of intense competition.

In the coming season, Champions Points will connect international leagues and global tournaments, measuring team performance and determining eligibility for global events. Shanghai will host the second Masters tournament of the season, with twelve teams battling for championship points and Masters Qualification.
