After revolutionising the smartphone industry by bringing the industry-first pop-up camera and an in-display fingerprint sensor, the Chinese smartphone maker is gearing to launch a new smartphone – Nex 3 – in September.

According to the latest leaks, the smartphone will come with a huge 6,400mAh battery and will support for 120W Super FlashCharge technology. The Nex 3 is expected to be powered by the 7nm Snapdragon 855+ chipset including a 2.96GHz octa-core processor. There will also be a pop-up camera and a 3.5mm audio jack along with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Vivo Nex 3 5G will sport a 64MP primary camera sensor at the back in triple camera setup. The 64MP sensor is the same as the one used by Xiaomi in the Redmi Note 8 Pro, which is expected to launch soon.

The Vivo Nex 3 will succeed Vivo Nex that was launched last year. The Vivo Nex sports a 6.59-inch full HD+ display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and comes in 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage option. At the back, there is a 12MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor. At the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera.

Vivo, recently announced iQoo Pro and Vivo iQoo Pro 5G Edition smartphones that comes with Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset and triple rear camera setup in China. Vivo’s market share hit 18 per cent, an increase from 10 per cent a year ago and 15 per cent in the first quarter of 2019.
