The Vivo S18 series, which includes the Vivo S18, Vivo S18 Pro, and Vivo S18e, was released in China on Thursday. MediaTek processors power two phones, while a Snapdragon processor powers the third. The Vivo S18 series boasts AMOLED panels and 50-megapixel main cameras. All three phones in the series enable 80W charging via USB Type-C connections and run Android 14 with the Vivo's OriginOS 4 shell on top.
Price and availability of the Vivo S18 Pro, Vivo S18, and Vivo S18e
The 8GB+256GB RAM and storage configuration costs CNY 2,299 (approximately Rs. 27,400), while the 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB variants cost CNY 2,599 (about Rs. 30,600) and CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs. 33,000), respectively. The most expensive variant, with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, costs CNY 2,999 (about Rs. 35,400).
Meanwhile, the Vivo S18 Pro is available in 12GB+256GB, 16GB+256GB, and 16GB+512GB configurations for CNY 3,199 (approximately Rs. 37,700), CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 40,900), and CNY 3,699 (about Rs. 43,300), respectively.
The Vivo S18e is available in two variants: a 12GB+256GB model for CNY 2,099 (about Rs. 24,900) and a 12GB+512GB variant for CNY 2,299 (approximately Rs. 27,400).
Specifications: Vivo S18 Pro and the Vivo S18
The Vivo S18 and Vivo S18 Pro both ship with Android 14-based OriginOS 4 with 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,260x2,800 pixel) curved AMOLED panels with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of up to 2,800 nits. The standard model has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 CPU, while the Vivo S18 Pro has a Dimensity 9200+ processor. The Vivo S18 and Vivo S18 Pro come with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 and LPDDR5X RAM.
The Vivo S18 sports a 50-megapixel primary camera with an OmniVision OV50E sensor and an aperture of f/1.88, as well as an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an OmniVision OV08D10 sensor and an aperture of f/2.2.
The Vivo S18 Pro, on the other hand, boasts a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Sony IMX920 sensor and an f/1.88 aperture, as well as a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a Samsung JN1 sensor and an f/2.0 aperture. A 12-megapixel telephoto camera with a Sony IMX663 sensor, 2x optical zoom, and an f/1.98 aperture is also included. Both phones sport a front-facing 50-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls.
The Vivo S18 and Vivo S18 Pro have UFS 3.1 storage capacities of up to 512GB. Among the connectivity choices are 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C connector. Both handsets are dust and splash-resistant, with an IP54 classification. They have a 5,000mAh battery and support for 80W wired charging. They are 164.36x75.1x7.45mm and weigh 185.8g, 2g less than the Pro model.

The Vivo S18e shares some specifications with the previous two versions in the series. The Vivo S18e phone has a full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixel) AMOLED screen with flat borders and a refresh rate of 120Hz. A Dimensity 7200 chip powers it and can accommodate up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
The Vivo S18e features a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Sony LYT-600 sensor and an f/1.79 aperture. It also features a 2-megapixel sensor for measuring depth. The Vivo S18e phone has a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture on the front.
The connection specifications are identical to the Vivo S18 and Vivo S18 Pro. It also incorporates an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication and is dust and water-resistant (IP54). The Vivo S18e phone has a 4,600mAh battery and supports cable charging up to 80W. It also has dimensions of 162.35x74.85x7.69mm and weighs 193g.
