After much anticipation, Vivo has introduced the V29 series in India. The Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro are the two phones in the series. Three color choices are available for the V29: Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red, and Space Black. On the other hand, the V29 Pro is only available in Himalayan Blue and Space Black.

Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro Specification

Both Vivo V29 and V29 Pro have a sleek and stylish design. The phone has a curved display that gives them a premium look. On the back, there is a camera module with three camera lenses, LED flash and smart Aura light. The V29 weighs around 186 grams, while the V29 Pro weighs around 188 grams.

The Himalayan Blue Vivo V29 Pro has a unique 3D particle design that creates a floating mountain pattern on the back panel. The V29, on the other hand, has a color-changing rear panel.

On the front, both phones have a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and HDR 10 certification. The maximum brightness is 1300 nits and the pixel density is 452 PPI. Both phones have a Type-C charging port, SIM tray and speakers at the bottom. On the right edge are the power and volume buttons. 

Under the hood, the V29 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, while the V29 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200. Talking about the camera, both phones have a triple camera setup. The V29 has a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter and a 2-megapixel bokeh lens.

The V29 Pro has a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 12-megapixel portrait lens and an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens. Both phones also have a 50-megapixel front-facing camera. As for the battery, both phones have a 4600 mAh (TYP) battery with 80W flash. Vivo claims the phone will go from 0-50 in just 18 minutes when fully charged.

Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro launched in India: Price and Availability

The V29 comes in two storage options – an 8GB 128GB variant and a 12GB 256GB variant. The 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 32,999, while the 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 36,999.

The V29 Pro, on the other hand,​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ has 8GB 256GB storage option and 12GB 256GB storage option. There is no 512GB version. The 8GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 39,999, while the 12GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 42,999. Speaking of availability, pre-orders for both phones start today.

The Vivo V29 Pro will go on sale on October 10, while the V29 will go on sale on October 17. The phones are available online on the official website of Vivo and Flipkart.
