On Monday, the Vivo V29e was released in India. The Vivo V29e device joins the Vivo V29 line and shares specs with the Vivo V29 Lite 5G, which was introduced internationally in June. Like the Lite variant, the recently introduced Vivo V29e sports a 5,000mAh battery with support for 44W wired fast charging and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. There are two colour options and two storage options. The Vivo V29e, on the other hand, offers a significant camera improvement.
Vivo V29e: Specifications
The Vivo V29e offers a 6.78-inch full-HD+ display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a peak brightness of 1300 nits, and a PWM dimming rate of up to 360Hz. The dual nano SIM phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, an Adreno 619 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage. FuntouchOS 13, which is based on Android 13, comes preloaded.
The Vivo V29e's dual rear camera system has a 64-megapixel primary sensor with OIS capabilities, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and an LED flash unit. Furthermore, the Vivo V29e phone sports a 50-megapixel selfie camera, a big upgrade over the Vivo V29 Lite's 16-megapixel front sensor.
The Vivo V29e's 5,000mAh battery supports 44W wired fast charging. It also supports 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C connections.
Vivo V29e: Price and Availability
The Vivo V29e is priced at Rs. 26,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and Rs. 28,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model in India. The Vivo V29e phone comes in two colours: Artistic Blue and Artistic Red. Pre-orders will be accepted beginning today, 28 August, on Flipkart and the Vivo e-store. Starting on 7 September, the Vivo V29e gadget will be available nationwide in India in select retail locations.
The Vivo V29e phone arrives only days before the iQOO Z7 Pro is released in India. The release date has been planned for 31 August. Motorola will also release the low-cost Moto G83 with a similar streamlined design on 1 September. The business already sells a curved display smartphone with 256GB storage for less than Rs 30,000 (Motorola Edge 40). According to the most recent IDC data, Vivo leads the Indian smartphone market with a 16% share.
