Vivo V5 Plus to be Launched on January 23

Vivo is going to launch another smartphone in India for selfie lovers on January 23. The Chinese smartphone maker has started sending out media invites for an event on January 23, where Vivo V5 Plus will be announced.

The Vivo V5 and V5 Plus are successors to company's V3 and V3 Max smartphones which were announced in April 2016. The V5 Plus will sport a dual-front camera setup with 20MP primary sensor and an 8MP secondary sensor.

The Vivo V5 Plus is said to feature a 5.5-inch full HD 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor coupled with 4GB RAM it will come with 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB through microSD card).

The smartphone is expected to be powered by a huge 4000mah battery and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. Connectivity options include a dual SIM option, 4G with VoLTE, 2G/3G, Wi-Fi hotspot, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, Bluetooth, GPS and a micro USB port.
