The Vivo Z1 Pro has been recently added to the very competitive sub-Rs 20k segment in India that aims to further capitalize on the Gen-Z and millennials. While the segment was initially ruled by Xiaomi, but it now has smartphones from Vivo, Realme, Oppo, etc.  that bring newer designs, fast performance and improved cameras. Vivo Z1 Pro vs Realme X: Price

The Vivo Z1 Pro is priced at Rs 14,990, Rs 16,990 and Rs 17,990, for the 4GB+64GB, 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB versions, respectively.

In China, the Realme X is priced at CNY 1,499 (approx. Rs 15,400) for the base 4GB/64GB storage variant. The 6GB/64GB costs CNY 1,599 (approx. Rs 16,400) and the 8GB/128GB version costs CNY 1,799 (approx. Rs 18,500). The smartphone will be soon launched in India.

Vivo Z1 Pro vs Realme X: Design and display

The Vivo Z1 Pro sports a 6.53-inch display with a 90.77 percent screen to body ratio. The smartphone further offers a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and an FHD+(2340X1080) resolution. The 19.5:9 super wide view and ensures a life-like viewing experience that makes games and videos more immersive and exciting than ever before.

The Realme X offers a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 6.53-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with a 91.2 percent screen-to-body ratio. The NTSC color gamut in the Realme X now reaches 100 percent, giving a vibrant display, says Realme. The smartphone is further protected by Gorilla Glass, making it robust and durable.

Vivo Z1 Pro vs Realme X: Specifications

The Z1 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 712 AIE with a 64-bit Qualcomm Kryo 360 CPU at its core offering a clock speed of up to 2.3 GHz and Adreno 616 Graphic Processing Unit (GPU) that Vivo claims can lead to increase in the overall performance by 10 percent. The Z1 Pro comes with an ultra-game mode to offer a seamless experience in e-sports.

On the other hand, the Realme X is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 710 SoC, but comes with an additional 2GB of RAM – 8GB and has dual-SIM (Nano) tray. The device runs on ColorOS 6.0 on top of Android 9 Pie. The smartphone is fuelled by a 3,765mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging.

When it comes to real life performance, both smartphones can seamlessly run almost all your apps with the same efficiency. Basic photo editing, light gaming and working with spreadsheets and other documents will be a breeze on both these devices.

Vivo Z1 Pro vs Realme X: Camera

The Vivo Z1 Pro comes with a triple camera setup consisting of a 16MP primary camera, 8MP super wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth camera. Modes such as backlight HDR, portrait bokeh, portrait light effects, AR stickers, slow motion, time-lapse photography, AI Beauty, etc. are also included in the smartphone. The Z1 Pro also comes with a 32MP in-display front camera.

The Realme X also consists of a dual camera comprising of a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 lens and a 5MP secondary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. At the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The 16MP pop-up camera on the Realme X is located at the center and according to the company the front camera only needs 0.74 seconds to pop up and has been tested to 200,000 cycles.
