Many users are complaining of their accounts getting banned from Whats app. As of now, there has been no official word about this mass bans from Whatsapp's end from different tweets on twitter by users who have now been banned from the app shows a different story. Bans on WhatsApp is not an uncommon phenomenon. Previously as well Whats app was banning users who were using the GB Whats app to access the service. Even on Whats app's own FAQ page they clearly state that using GB Whats app or any other third party app to access WhatsApp will result in a temporary ban for users. Since there is no official word from the company about mass bans happening anywhere there is a chance that there is more to the ban than just using a third-party app.

Reasons your account is banned on Whatsapp:
Well as with any other platform Whatsapp also has its own terms of service. Violating those terms will result in a ban from the app. Many times various government institutions collaborate with the company to ban accounts that the government considers are violating the law of the country. Many states in India ban the service frequently due to the fake news that is being spread on the platform. Even Whats app has acknowledged that fake news and rumors are a problem on its platform and has launched several campaigns to educate the people on how to avoid fake news. There is also a chance that this is a bug on the Whatsapp's end and will be resolved quickly. If your account is not temporarily banned but permanently banned then you should contact the Whatsapp support to see if the issue can be resolved by them. If all fails and your account is permabanned on the platform then the only way for you to start using the service is to get a new mobile number.
