Xbox Series X Launch in November

Xbox series X has been confirmed to launch in November of this year. In all the live events that were hosted for Xbox series X one thing that Microsoft was focusing on was the launch of the device in the "Holiday Season" which is the definition of vague. Now there is an official month for the console launch. Xbox X will compete directly with the Sony Playstation 5 when it launches. Even with the November confirmation, there is no official date for the launch set yet. There is a good reason for Microsoft to not set a date for the launch of its latest console. With the whole COVID-19 pandemic situation the manufacturing industry has been the hardest hit and is having the most difficult time coping with the changing landscape.

Now, as far as Halo Infinite is concerned that has been delayed till 2021. When the Halo Infinite trailer hit the internet it left a lot of players disappointed. Microsoft did want to release the Xbox series X along with Halo infinite since the game is only exclusive to Xbox but the fans backlash has made them rethink their strategy for Halo and Xbox series X. That being said, it does not mean that Xbox series X won't have any titles available when it launches. Microsoft has decided to shift the focus from the Halo debacle to its Xbox Game Pass and other games that are being optimized for Xbox Series X.

Xbox Series X Specifications:

The Xbox Series X is powered by an AMD processor based on the Zen 2 architecture. This will be an 8-core processor clocked at 3.8 GHz. There is 16GB of DDR6 Ram and a 1TB SSD for internal storage. The GPU is also from AMD and offers 12 teraflops of raw power to the console. Ray tracing is there and so is 8K output which is insane for a console. The Xbox X can push out 120 FPS easily with the quality of hardware inside.
