In October of this year, Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro were released in China. The Xiaomi's 14 phone is powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and comes with a 4,610mAh battery that supports 90W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W wireless reverse charging. Xiaomi's 14 models were the first to ship with the company's new HyperOS user interface. The Xiaomi 14 base model is expected to be released in India and abroad in the coming months.
Xiaomi 14 model will be unveiled globally during the Mobile World Congress 2024
According to 91Mobiles, which cites tipster Yogesh Brar (@heyitsyogesh), the base Xiaomi 14 model will be unveiled globally during the Mobile World Congress 2024, slated to occur between February 26 and 29. According to the report, the Xiaomi 14 phone will be introduced on 25 February and available in India on the same day.
Previously, the standard Xiaomi 14 model was seen with the model number 23127PN0CG on India's Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. The letter 'G' is thought to represent the worldwide variety of its Chinese counterpart. Although Indian models usually have an 'I' at the end, the model has been discovered on BIS. Therefore, an India launch of the phone appears to be soon. The Xiaomi 14 phone was also identified as a "5G Mobile Phone with Bluetooth Wi-Fi and NFC" connectivity on the IMDA certification site.

The Xiaomi 14 was released in China featuring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage, and a 4,610mAh battery with 90W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W wireless reverse charging capability. It comes pre-installed with the company's new HyperOS interface based on Android 14. The Xiaomi 14 phone has a 6.36-inch 1.5K (1,200 x 2,600 pixel) LTPO AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a pixel density of 460ppi, and a peak brightness of 3000 nits.
The Xiaomi 14 has a triple back camera set with a Summilux lens branded Leica. It features a 50-megapixel Hunter 900 sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens. The front-facing camera features a 32-megapixel sensor. The Xiaomi 14 handset is dust and water-resistant, with an IP68 classification. It has dimensions of 152.8mm x 71.5mm x 8.20mm and weighs 193g.
