Xiaomi Launches Redmi 9A in India at Rs. 6,799, New Budget King?

Xiaomi India has now officially launched the new Redmi 9A in the Indian Market at an extremely affordable price. The Redmi 9 A is a budget-oriented smartphone priced at Rs. 6,799. Xiaomi had already launched the Redmi 9A in the Malaysian markets a few months ago and now they are bringing the device to India. The Redmi 9A is supposed to replace the older budget device by Xiaomi, the Redmi 8A. The new Redmi 9A will be sold via Amazon, Mi India Website, and retail stores. The device will be available from September 4th for sale.

Xiaomi Redmi 9A India Specifications:

The new Redmi 9 A will be powered by the Mediatek Helio G25 processor with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. This is a budget smartphone by Redmi. The display is a 6.5 inch IPS LCD panel with 720 x 1600 resolution. The display also features a waterdrop notch design. There are two variants of the device for the Indian market. One version of the Redmi 9A will come with 2GB of Ram and 32GB of storage and will be priced at Rs. 6,799. The other version will come with 3GB of Ram and 32GB of storage which will be priced at Rs. 7,499. This is a dual sim device with support for storage expansion via a MicroSD card.

There is a 13MP camera unit at the back of the smartphone. The front camera is a 5MP shooter. There is 2.4GHz WiFi support along with Bluetooth 5.0. This is a dual-sim 4G device. There is a headphone jack and a massive 5000 mAh battery with support for 10W fast charging. Xiaomi claims that the battery can last up to 2 days on the Redmi 9A. Out of the box, the device will be running on Android 10 with MiUi on top.

Xiaomi Redmi 9A India Price and Sale:

Even though the device has been launched in India the sale will be on September 4th. The price of the 2GB ram model is Rs. 6,799 and for the 3GB ram model is Rs. 7,499. The device will be sold on Amazon India and on the Xiaomi India website.
