Redmi Note 3 comes with 16MP rear camera, which has dual ISPs for more powerful post-processing of photos. It also comes equipped with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) for faster focusing, as well as “Local Tone Mapping”, which adjusts contrast at a pixel level to deliver images with much better contrast levels — close to what the eye can see in real life.

Equipped with a brilliant 5.5-inch full-HD display, it can dynamically adjusts the contrast of pixels to make content more visible under bright daylight. At night, turning on Reading mode will cut down blue light emitted by the display, which reduces eye fatigue.

Redmi Note 3 has been designed for full compatibility with India’s cellular networks, and it supports all Indian LTE bands. In particular, the support for LTE Band 5 allows users to fully utilise the Voice over LTE (VoLTE) technology incorporated in Redmi Note 3, which will make it possible for HD calls to be carried over 4G, even when indoors.

Redmi Note 3 will be available exclusively on Amazon.in and Mi.com starting 9 March. The version with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage retails at INR 9,999, while the version with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage will go for INR 11,999. Starting from 4pm on 3 March, Mi fans can pre-register on the two sites for the first sale.
