In February, Xiaomi launched the Mi 9 in China along with Mi 9 SE and Mi 9 Explorer Edition. Now, the Chinese smartphone maker is planning to launch Mi 9X, sometime in April. The specifications of the Xiaomi Mi 9X have been posted on Weibo.
The Mi 9X is expected to come with a 6.4-inch full-HD AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch. There will be triple camera setup at the back, consisting of a 48MP primary sensor, a 13MP wide angle lens and an 8MP telephoto lens. At the front, the Mi 9X is said to come with a 32 MP selfie camera.
The phone could be powered by the Snapdragon 675 chipset paired up with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. A battery of 3,000mAh will fuel the smartphone that will also support 18W fast charging. The smartphone will run on MIUI 10 on top of Android 9 Pie.
Recently, Xiaomi Poco F2 was listed on benchmarking platform – Geekbench—with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and 4GB of RAM. The Poco F2 will be successor to Poco F1 which is one of the fast performing smartphone under Rs 20,000.
The smartphone is expected to come with the upcoming Android Q OS which has been released recently by Google for developers and Beta users.
Earlier, a phone codenamed as Xiaomi Uranus was spotted on Geekbench having like Snapdragon 660, 4GB of RAM and Android 9 Pie. According to the media leaks, this Uranus could be Poco F1 Lite.
