The Mi Band 4 is expected to come with an improved heart rate monitoring system. And according to the media reports, the Mi Band 4 will be a massive upgrade from Mi Band 3. The company is replacing the monochrome display with the colour display and an easy to use user interface.

The Mi Band 4 will sport the same waterproof design as seen the Mi Band 3 along with the identical band design with tracker module combo and a touchscreen to navigate data screens.

As colour display needs a larger battery to operate, Xiaomi is also upgrading the size of the battery in the Mi Band 4. The new smart band will come with a 135mAh battery as compared to the 110 mAh on the Mi Band 3. The smart band will be equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 (as compared to Bluetooth 4.2 in Mi Band 3) to provide a seamless connectivity across multiple devices.

The smart band could support six new sport modes including running, treadmill running and cycling, etc. The smart band will also have AI that will allow it to control smart devices such as Amazon Alexa, Google Home from the band. There could also be a possibility to control music from your paired smartphone.
