Xiaomi Mi Band 4 to launch on September 17 in India

Xiaomi India Managing Director Manu Jain confirmed that the Mi Band 4 is coming to India on September 17 in the country. It is already selling in China.

Xiaomi’s much-anticipated fitness band – the Mi Band 4 is finally arriving in India. Xiaomi India’s Managing Director Manu Jain confirmed that the Mi Band 4 will launch in India on September 17. The Mi Band 4 without NFC is expected to cost approx. Rs 1,700 and the one with NFC will cost approx. Rs 2,300.

The Mi Smart Band 4 comes with an all-new full-color AMOLED display, with a 39.9 percent increase in screen size compared to its predecessor. The band is able to display over 16 million colors, along with 77 customized themes.

The Mi Smart Band 4 allows users to view fitness stats, messages, and notifications at a glance with a splash of color. There is a new 6-axis sensor that now supports more accurate activity tracking and also introduces a new swim-track mode. The Mi Band 4 supports offline payments via AliPay, and also uses artificial intelligence. Users can activate XiaoAi AI assistant for voice control of other connected smart home devices. Mi Smart Band 4 is available starting from RMB 169, with 5 color straps to choose from.

The Mi Band 4 also has an improved heart rate monitoring system. The Mi Band 4 has the same waterproof design as seen in the Mi Band 3 along with the identical band design with tracker module combo and a touchscreen to navigate data screens.

The Mi Band 4 will come with a 135mAh battery as compared to the 110mAh on the Mi Band 3. The smart band will be equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 (as compared to Bluetooth 4.2 in Mi Band 3) to provide seamless connectivity across multiple devices.
