Xiaomi Mi Notebook Details | DTS Sound | SSD | 10 Hour Battery and More

Xiaomi India VP Manu Jain just tweeted about getting his first MI notebook. In the tweet, he also attached the photo of the Mi notebook box which has a few more details about the laptop. The box showed that Mi notebook will have an SSD as the internal storage. It will also have DTS sound on board and will be lightweight. The battery life on the box showed that the Mi notebook can be used for 10 hours which indicates that Xiaomi has focused on the productivity side of the market. There was no mention of the processor used or about any dedicated graphics card but we think that there will an inclusion of a dedicated GPU.

The specs have become a lot more clear with this photo tweeted by Manu Jain. In the tweeted photo we can see that the Mi notebook box has horizon edition written on it which could mean that there are different editions that are catering to different needs. This is probably the top of the line Mi Notebook. There is also a shield symbol on the box which indicated some sort of protection so the laptop has either extended warranty or a software program preinstalled by Xiaomi.

Xiaomi is launching the Mi Notebook on June 11 in India. There has been a lot of hype surrounding the laptop with Xiaomi releasing bits and pieces of information through different social networks. We still have no confirmation on the processors being used but its safe to say that Xiaomi will be going with Intel. The laptop has been designed for the Indian market by Xiaomi. This will be the first laptop launched by Xiaomi in India. Xiaomi has been making laptops in China for the Chinese markets for a long time and even has a line of Redmi notebooks in China. We don't know if Xiaomi will launch the redmi line of notebooks in India but we do know that the Mi notebook will be a laptop that will be a great option for the productivity users.
