Xiaomi Note 4 is going to be a Flipkart exclusive according to a teaser from the e-commerce major on its Twitter handle. Xiaomi is going to launch the Redmi Note 4 in India on January 19.
The Indian market has been very good for the Chinese smartphone maker and Xiaomi has crossed $1 billion in revenue in India last year, thanks to the overwhelming response generated by Redmi Note 3, Redmi 3S, Redmi 3S Prime. Redmi Note 3 was one of the highest selling smartphones in India and according to IDC Xiaomi is now the number three smartphone vendor in India.
Note 4 sports a metal unibody design just like the previous Redmi Note 3 and one of the major highlight of this phone will be the huge 4,100 mAh battery.
In terms of specifications, the Note 4 has a 5.5-inch full HD display with 2.5D arc glass design, a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF (phase detection autofocus), f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash. The 5-megapixel front camera of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 sports an 85-degree wide angle lens. Powered by a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 coupled with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU it runs MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB).
Connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro-USB, and Glonass. In China, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 smartphone was launched in Gold, Grey, and Silver colors.
