However, today Xiaomi takes the fight to another level by launching new Redmi K20 smartphone that packs the 48MP rear camera and an AMOLED display. With the Redmi K20, Xiaomi aims to offer a high-end user experience with the latest tech powering it. The Redmi K20 comes with a 19.5:9 full HD+ AMOLED display which Xiaomi calls ‘Horizon Display’ that offers a 91.9 percent screen-to-body ratio. The Horizon AMOLED Display also houses a 7th generation in-display fingerprint scanner and is protected by curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The Galaxy A50 comes with 6.4-inch full-HD+ Infinity-U Display and Samsung’s proprietary Super AMOLED resolution. With minimum bezels, the device offers a screen to body ratio of 91.6 percent. The Galaxy A50 comes in a smooth curved shape and is available in three new colour options: white, blue and black inspired by scattered light.

The Redmi K20 comes with an AI-powered triple rear camera setup -- a 48MP main camera, an 8MP telephoto and a 13MP wide-angle. The 48MP main camera works on Sony IMX582 sensor allowing for more light to let in to further improve the low-light photography.

The smartphone is powered by a 4,000mAh battery and comes with an 18W charger with support for a quick charge. Users can additionally purchase the 27W SonicCharge adapter which is available on Mi.com.

The Redmi K20 is one of the first phones that come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC. The Snapdragon 730 is the third-fastest chipset to be ever launched by Qualcomm (after SD 845 and SD 855) and is 40 percent faster than its predecessor -- Snapdragon 710.

On the other hand, the Galaxy A50 is powered by the Exynos 7 Octa 9610 chipset clubbed with a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The smartphone further comes with a 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast charge technology and USB Type C for faster data transfers.

The Galaxy A50 rear camera comprises of a 25MP main camera equipped with F1.7 lens that allows shooting bright and vivid images even in low light conditions, a 5MP depth sensor with F2.2 lens and an 8MP Ultra-Wide Lens, with a 123-degree field of view. The smartphone further packs Samsung’s Intelligent Scene Optimiser, where the camera categorizes the subject and adjusts the colour, contrast, and brightness to instantly optimize image quality. Equipped with on-screen fingerprint unlocking, Galaxy A50 provides intuitive unlocking without changing the grip.

Redmi K20 comes in two storage variants -- a 6GB/64GB starting variant and a top-end 6GB/128GB and will be available in the same Fire & Ice colour scheme as Redmi K20 Pro. It supports 18W fast charging and comes with 18W charger right out of the box.

The Galaxy A50 is priced at Rs 22,990 for the 6GB/64GB and Rs 19,990 for 4GB/64GB RAM memory variants.
