Zebra RhoMobile App Development Platform Goes Open Source

Zebra Technologies Corporation announced RhoMobile Suite , its enterprise and consumer mobile app development platform, now released to open source under the MIT License. By opening control of the software to customers, partners and the development community, Zebra is enabling developers to add features, support new operating systems (OSes), and fix bugs specific to their solutions.

RhoMobile Suite is a set of development tools for creating data-centric cross-platform native mobile apps. Within RhoMobile Suite, RhoConnect (an enterprise-class solution for performing app integration and data synchronization) and RhoElements (which allows users to write native enterprise mobile apps) will now be open source. Rhodes and RhoStudio were open sourced previously.
