Video games have proven to be boon during the lockdown due to the COVID 19 Pandemic. If you have tried the games from our list of free multiplayer games to play during the pandemic and want to try something new, there is another game which is going free this week: Assassin’s Creed 2.
Ubisoft is planning to make Assassin’s Creed 2 free to play on Tuesday, and anyone who claims it within this week will be able to keep it for life. This was first reported by Daniel Ahmed on Twitter, who spotted it on a German bargain site.

Assassin’s Creed 2 is considered one of the best games in the AC series and Ezio Audiotre still counts amongst the greatest video games protagonists. It follows Ezio’s rise as a master Assassin in Renaissance era Italy, helped by none other than Leonardo Da Vinci.
Assassin’s Creed 2 took the criticism the series received from the first game and added a lot of side missions and an engaging story line with the now iconic background store. Keep an eye on Uplay and if you haven’t played the game, don’t miss the chance to get it.
