Call of Duty Mobile

Call of Duty has been enjoying a lot of hype recently, thanks to their reboot of the Modern Warfare series. Some of it has not been so great due to reasons like a PS4 exclusive mode and lootboxes that contain more than just cosmetics. There is another reason to get hyped for the franchise, but this time it is for Call of Duty Mobile.

Call of Duty Mobile is still in early access on the Play Store, but it will receive a full release on October 1st. Along with the release on mobile, players will also be able to run it on PC with the GameLoop emulator. The emulator is owned by Tencent. It promises ‘exclusive key mapping' for the game:

"Playing CODM on GameLoop allows you to breakthrough the limitation of phones with bigger screen to achieve wider field of view, mouse and keyboard to ensure precise aiming and shooting. More importantly, exclusive key mapping and in-depth adaption will bring you the most immersive and wonderful experience of Call of Duty: Mobile.”

Call of Duty Mobile seems to be taking a cue from Tencent’s PUBG: Mobile, which is available to be played on PC through Tencent Gaming Buddy. PUBG Mobile has become hugely popular in India, and the most watched game. The game’s mobile version being played on PC is more popular than the PC version itself.

Call of Duty Mobile seems to be gearing up to give it a competition. It also employs a battle pass, but apart from the Battle Royale mode, it also has the classic CoD modes like Team Deathmatch and Frontline. The game also has all time favourite maps like Nuketown as well. Dethroning PUBG: Mobile in India will not be an easy task for CoD: Mobile but it is on the right track. We will have to wait until the game’s official release to see if it will be able to give PUBG a competition.
