The Outer Worlds system requirements revealed

The Outer Worlds system requirements are pretty tame. Tamer than even Red Dead Redemption 2 PC’s system requirements.

New Update
The Outer Worlds system requirements

The Outer Worlds, the upcoming Sci-fi game from Obsidian has just a week before it releases. It is made by the makers of Fallout: New Vegas, which is considered the best Fallout game, so it is natural that the players have high expectations from the game. It is also on our list of upcoming games in 2019 to look out for. Given that the game’s release is close, The Outer Worlds system requirements have been released, and there are not what I was expecting:

  • CPU: Intel Core i3-3225 or AMD Phenom II X6 1100T

Recommended:

  • OS: Windows 10 64bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K or Ryzen 5 1600
  • RAM: 8GB
  • GPU: GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or Radeon RX 470
  • HDD Space: 40GB

As you can see, The Outer Worlds system requirements are pretty tame. Tamer than even Red Dead Redemption 2’s requirements, which were pretty low considering. Even the recommended requirements for Outer Worlds demand only 8GB RAM, but given the CPU requirements, it looks like the game will put it to some use. The 40GB download is pretty decent as well, considering most games today reach upwards of 100GB.

Outer Worlds is a sci-fi RPG, much like Fallout but it will be set in space in an alternate reality, where the player will try to reach to the bottom of the truth of the so called Megacorporations.
