Possible release window for RTX 3070, 3080 and 3080 Ti leaked

We couldn’t be more excited for the new generation of Nvidia Graphics card. With the announcement possibly on May 14th, we now have a new set of leaks which reveal possible specs and release dates for RTX 3070, 3080 and 3080 Ti along with RTX 3060 as well. 

The leaks came from a user on Twitter named chiakokhua, who had earlier revealed details about the AMD Epyc processors before they became public. But the tweet was later deleted so I would take the leaks with a grain of salt.  

The slide shows that the RTX 3070 and 3080 will release in Q3 in 2020 and the RTX 3080 Ti will come a bit later in Q4. RTX 3060 however, will release in Q1 in 2021. This goes in line with the release of 2060, which came quite a while after its higher end counterparts. 

Form what we can see in the specs, the RTX 3000 series will be mighty powerful. The 3070 will be almost as powerful as the 2080 Ti (5% slower) while the RTX 3080 Ti will be 40 % faster. The RTX 3080 will be 10% faster than the 2080 Ti according to the leaks.  

All this power will be worth it only if the cards are priced competitively. Which can be a bit difficult given the current Covid 19 pandemic.
