Global Esports x Razer

Global Esports has been making leaps and bounds in the Indian Esports scene. Just a few weeks ago, they had announced their partnership with Harrisburg University, a STEM university in the USA, to bring Esports degrees to India. Their Indian Overwatch team is also the first Overwatch team from India to reach the Overwatch World Cup to be held in November.

Their most recent achievement is securing a partnership with Razer for their Indian Overwatch team as well as their Singaporean Overwatch team. This is the first time that Razer will be partnering up or sponsoring an Indian Esports organisation. Global Esports made the announcement via their" target="_blank" rel="noopener"> Facebook page saying:

Today we are proud to officially announce our partnership with Razer.

This has been a partnership months in the making and the journey has been very exciting.

The first engagement of this partnership being with our two Overwatch World Cup teams, Team Singapore & Team India with many more to follow soon.

Razer is a brand that screams quality and has some of the best gaming peripherals and systems. At Global Esports we strive for similar tiers of quality and thus this partnership is close to our hearts.

This is the first of its kind partnership with Razer sponsoring an Indian team & org.

We have hundreds of things in the pipeline that we can’t wait to announce.

With Fnatic entering into India with their PUBG Mobile Squad and Global esports and other organisations making strides in the Indian market, things are looking good for Indian gamers, even though it might take a bit more work to reach at par with other esports markets.
