Call of Duty: Warzone, the hottest Battle Royale right now, has been experimenting a lot with its game modes. Initially, there was only the Trio mode, then cam Quads and solos and Trios was removed. But after the community demanded, the Trios mode was back. We also got Plunder Duos for a while but until now we haven’t seen a Warzone Duos.

A lot of streamers and gamers have been demanding the Duos mode, but we have no word about it. But that changed when Warzone Devs did an interview with Game Gen. When asked about Warzone Duos, Amos Hodge, Creative Director at Raven Software replied: “We had Duos on Plunder, but I’m not sure where Duos is, we got some bugs to work out with Duos. But we’re listening to the community - if you noticed, we launched with just Trios, then we added Solos, then we added Quads, so we will get to a place where we add Duos in the future. There’s just no exact time I can give you for now, but Duos is coming. You’ve already seen in Plunder, but there’s just things we gotta figure out, find the right timing and everything else.”

The developers also further explained that they could not have a number of playlists because it would divide the servers and matchmaking might be affected, resulting in poor connections and unfilled lobbies.
