In February, Xiaomi’s Product Director Wang Teng Thomas hinted that the company could bring a pop-up camera phone in the near future. The pop-up camera was first introduced by Vivo in its Nex smartphones. Pop-up camera is technically a motorised mechanism fitted inside the phone’s body that pops-up when you opt for selfies.

Thomas did not disclose as to when it will be launched officially.
